Finnish Society of Forest Science a network of researchers that strives to stimulate scientific discussion and cooperation within the forest research community, to enhance communication between researchers and practical foresters, and to promote public interest in forest research. We are an independent actor that cooperates with all Finnish forest research organisations. As a member of our Society, you will be the first to receive timely information on forest science related events and support independent work to promote forest sciences. As a member, you may publish one free article in our international open access forest science journal Silva Fennica, if you are the first author. This provided that your manuscript pass the rigorous peer-review of Silva Fennica.
