Who may apply for a grant?

Research grant of the Finnish Society of Forest Science

  • Doctoral student who is enrolled to doctoral degree studies in a Finnish university.

  • Post-doc scientist who works in a Finnish research organisation and whose doctoral degree was awarded less than five years before the closure date of the grant application round. • An application for post-doc research may be submitted at earliest after the applicant’s dissertation has been approved for public defense (väittelylupa). The date of the permission for public defense must be earlier than the deadline for application submissions.
  • A thesis supervisor may not make the application for their students.
